What Is Pryanta?
T he word Pryanta describes a sound that represents the continuum in its awakened consciousness or undifferentiated state. Ranges are generally depicted as lines, where the end points represent two extremes. The continuum can be thought of as a line curving to form a circle. Where the lines two end points meet, the extremes cease to be opposites and become part of a larger whole. The continuum transcends duality. The whole can no longer be separated into component parts. As human beings we tend to experience dualistic extremes rather than the whole of the continuum.
Pryanta is a type of energy work pioneered by Pamela Schlade and Raven Tompkins. The work focuses on assisting others in creating a fluid balance of the mental, emotional and physical bodies in order to facilitate the emergence of Self.
Pryanta involves the holistic use of seemingly opposite energies to create a balanced continuum for a renewed relationship with Self. This work releases energy that has become fixed or controlling through habitual thought and/or choices. Once the energy is again fluid it is able to move and change without separation from the whole. Fixed energy attaches through wounding and can manifest energetically as cords, hooks or parasites. On the physical, mental and emotional levels it can create dis-ease.
